I need to locate my CWID number. How do I do this?

Introduction

Your CWID (College Wide Identification) number is a unique number that identifies you as a member of the College of Charleston, and it may be required when accessing certain services.

Instructions

Find your CWID inside MyPortal:

  1. Log into MyPortal
  2. Go to the Personal Information tile.
  3. Select Personal Information from the options.
  4. Your CWID will be underneath your name and portrait on the left-hand side next to the ID Number:
  5. While you are here, please verify that your information is up-to-date.

 

Can't log into MyPortal?

Other Ways to find your CWID:

    1. New Students (Graduate, Undergraduate): If you applied through CofC Admissions' sites, your CWID should be visible from within the application portal. You can use the login assistance tools on each site to recover login information if needed to retrieve your CWID.
    2. New Employees: Your CWID was provided to you and your supervisor when your account was initially created. You may want to check your personal email on file or supervisor to locate this information.
